To turn off notifications, go to Android Settings\Applications Manager, select SG Stock Alert, then uncheck "Show notifications"

22 June 2015 | This version is for any Android phone and tablet. It fixes the following bugs:
(1) Charts could not be displayed properly.
(2) Company announcements could not be loaded properly. If you cannot locate a counter, there is a good chance this counter has changed its code. In this case, you may need to refresh the database.
If you encounter a message saying "SG Stock Alert has stopped working", please quit and re-launch the app. Please also refer to the FAQ page to perform a self-test of the Android push notification. |

For Android phones with a menu button (e.g. Samsung Galaxy S3, S4) Important Note: If your organization has a firewall that restricts the traffic to or from the Internet, you'll need to configure it to allow connectivity with Google. The ports to open are: 5228, 5229, and 5230. This means you may or may not receive Android push notification using the wifi either in your office or home depending on the router settings. This is not an issue with LTE/3G/GPRS. Please refer to the FAQ to perform a simple self test. |
